Eligibility

The hackathon is open to:

  • Undergraduate & Graduate Students from any department at Army IBA, Sylhet (intra-university participation).
  • Teams of 2-6 members (individual participation is not allowed).
  • Participants must be currently enrolled students.
  • No prior hackathon experience is required, but an interest in business, technology, or innovation is encouraged.

Project and Submission Requirements

To qualify, participants must adhere to the following:

General Requirements
  • The project must be developed during the hackathon timeframe.
  • Submissions should be original and not copied from previous works.
  • All projects must align with the themes and problem statements provided.

Submission Requirements

Participants must submit:

  • Demo Video (3-5 mins): Explaining the project, features, and functionality.
  • GitHub Repository / Prototype Link: Source code or live demo of the solution.
  • Project Documentation: Description of the problem, solution, tech stack, and impact.
  • Pitch Deck (Optional but Recommended): Business model, scalability, and future roadmap.

Failure to meet these criteria may result in disqualification.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of industry experts, academics, and investors based on the following criteria:

  1. Innovation & Creativity (20%) – How unique and creative is the solution?
  2. Feasibility & Execution (20%) – Can this idea be realistically implemented?
  3. Market Viability (20%) – Does the project have real-world business potential?
  4. Technical Quality (20%) – How well is the solution built from a technical perspective?
  5. Presentation & Communication (20%) – Clarity and persuasiveness of the pitch.

The highest-scoring teams will be selected as winners. Judges reserve the right to adjust scores based on overall impact and execution.
